Are You Prepared?

The recent floods in the Midwest, the ongoing wild fires in the West and the first hurricane hitting the U.S. reminds us that we should all consider making preparations in case of a sudden emergency.

Can you and your family survive for three to four days without contact from local authorities in case of a man made or natural disaster? Being prepared involves more than stocking up on batteries, some canned food and water.

You might want to read through "Jane's Citizen's Safety Guide" to start your preparations. This book gives you information on what to buy as well as who to talk to before, during and after an emergency.

Go to www.janes.com to get information about purchasing this book and other Safety Guides from Jane's Information Group.
