Playing Card Workout
I did my playing card workout this morning for the first time is several months.
I am going to have to do it more often since it really took some effort to get thru all of the cards.
I am sure some folks are wondering what I am talking about.
The idea of the playing card workout is to pick four basic body weight exercises, I use sit-ups, push-ups, double leg lifts and Hindu squats, and assign one suit to each exercise. You then flip thru the deck doing each exercise as a card of that suit comes up. The pip cards count for however many pips there are on the card. The face cards and ace count for ten.
When I started doing this set of exercises I used only the pip cards and built up to doing a full deck over about six months. I eventually got to doing 150 of each execise by using part of a second deck.
Those 150 exercises really did me in this morning.
If you are looking for a new and different exercise set I recommend you try this out.
