Back from AWSDA

Andrea and I went to the American Women's Self Defense Association's (AWSDA) annual conference in Phoenix, AZ the first week of November.

As usual the event was well put together with many interesting classes. Amongst them was a class on how to present information to parents and children on child predators and how to recognize and avoid them.

We are looking to try and build a similar program to present to local folks in our area.

Andrea and I also certified as AWSDA Rape Prevention Instructors. We will now be giving classes in this subject thru Gallowglass Academy.
